MOLD KILLS HEALTH DISTRICT EMPLOYEE
Could the very agency responsible for protecting and promoting public health
be responsible for a man's death?
His family and his doctors
say he was exposed to the mold, aspergillus and stachybotrys, at work in the Environmental
Health Wing of the Southern Nevada Health District's main building on Shadow Lane.
The Health District's own human resources department in 2005
noted that Dan was the third current active employee with this specific diagnosis.

of full force and effect on July 1, 2010 -
In a effort to protect the citizens of Florida, Florida Governor Crist
signed Mold / Inspection legislation (SB2234) into law. The new law will regulate
the Mold Inspection industry and Home Inspection businesses and individuals. Senate
Bill 2234, adopted by the 2007 Florida Legislature as the latest effort on that
front, was signed by Governor Crist on June 27 and became the law on July 1. READ
